Easy hamburger steak with gravy and onions ….Hmmm, doesn’t that sound good? This hamburger steak recipe is seasoned to perfection and smothered in my homemade gravy.
Hamburger Steak with Gravy and Onions

Ingredients  

  • 2 lb Ground beef More if you like
  • 1 Teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 3 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 1/2 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Butter

Hamburger Gravy

  • 1 Medium Sweet Onion Sliced
  • 4 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • Pinch Salt To your liking
  • Pepper To your liking
  • Garlic Powder To your liking
  • Seasoning Salt To your liking
  • 1 Pack Brown Gravy I suggest McCormick(not sponsored)

Instructions

  • To a bowl, add your ground beef
    2 lb Ground beef
  • Add in all of your seasonings
    1 Teaspoon Seasoning Salt, 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder, 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 3 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • Mix those ingredients into your ground beef well. Form your beef into patties
  • Add oil and butter to a preheated cast iron pan (medium-high temperature)
    1 Tablespoon Olive Oil, 1 Teaspoon Butter
  • Next, Add in your beef patties and allow to cook on both sides for about 5 minutes.
  • Once the patties have cooked for 5 minutes on both sides. Take them out and sit them to the side.

Steps to the gravy recipe

  • In the same pot, add in your butter along with your onions and allow that to cook for 2 minutes
    4 Tablespoon Butter, 1 Medium Sweet Onion
  • Add in your flour and gravy pack and stir until it dissolves.
    1/4 Cup Flour, 1 Pack Brown Gravy
  • Once things dissolve, add in your beef broth and Worcestershire sauce and stir.
    1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce, 1 1/2 Cups Beef Broth
  • Season your gravy to your liking
    Pinch Salt, Pepper, Seasoning Salt, Garlic Powder
  • Add back in your beef patties and let simmer on medium-low for 5 minutes!
