These crispy Cajun fries are cut straight from the Idaho potato, then rested in a pool of iced water, and fried up into golden perfection!

Ingredients

Idaho Potatoes
Any Size

Tablespoon
Creole Seasoning
Vegetable Oil
Enough to submerge fries

Ice

Water

Instructions
Cut your potatoes into French fries
4 Idaho Potatoes
To a bowl add ice and water
1 Cup Ice,
1 Cup Water
Submerge the fries and allow to sit for 30 minutes
Remove fries from the water and dry them thoroughly
Preheat your grease to 375 Fahrenheit
Vegetable Oil
Add in your fries(allow to cook for 5 minutes)
Take them out and let them rest(sprinkle some Cajun seasoning over them)
Place back into the pot at 325 degrees until they become golden brown or fried to your likening
Take them out and place them onto a napkin and season immediately with Cajun/Creole seasoning
