Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
In a spacious bowl, add the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract. With the help of an electric mixer, beat them together at a medium speed until you achieve a delightful creamy texture. This process should take approximately 1 minute.
1 cup Light brown sugar, 2/3 cups Granulated White Sugar, 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract, 1 cup Salted Butter, 2 Eggs
In a bowl of medium size, gently sift together the baking soda, salt, and flour. As you go, gradually add these dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture while beating at a low speed. Don't forget to scrape the sides of the bowl to ensure everything mixes well. Afterward, increase the speed to medium and continue beating for another 30 seconds until the mixture is thoroughly combined.
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda, 1 Teaspoon Salt, 3 Cups All Purpose Flour
Once the dough is ready, incorporate chocolate chips and chopped walnuts into it, stirring until well combined. Using rounded tablespoons, drop the dough onto baking sheets that have been prepared in advance, making sure to leave about 2-3 inches of space between each dough ball. For an extra touch, place a few additional chocolate chips and walnuts on top of each dough ball.
2 Cups Semi-chocolate chips, 1/2 Cup walnuts
After incorporating chocolate chips and chopped walnuts into the dough, stir to combine them thoroughly. Proceed to drop the dough onto pre-prepared baking sheets using rounded tablespoons, ensuring a distance of about 2 to 3 inches between each dough portion. Enhance the appearance by adding a few extra chocolate chips and walnuts on top of each dough ball. Next, bake the cookies in the oven for approximately 10-12 minutes. However, it is advisable to check their readiness at the 10-minute mark, as they may be done by then. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before transferring them to a wire rack.
