Lemon Pepper turkey wings

Zesty lemon pepper fried turkey wings are undeniably a taste bud pleaser.  There is so much crunchy deliciousness with every bite of these wings you don’t want to stop eating them.
Lemon Pepper Fried Turkey Wings

Equipment

  • Deep Fryer

Ingredients  

  • Boiling Water Enough to submerge turkey wings
  • 3 to 4 Medium-sized Turkey Wings
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar

Seasoning for Turkey Wings

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Seasoning Salt To your taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder To your taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper To your taste

Lemon Pepper Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon Pepper Seasoning To your taste
  • 1/2 Stick Butter
  • 1 Tsp Honey

Seasoning for flour

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp Seasoning Salt
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 Cups Vegetable Oil Enough to submerge turkey wings in

Instructions

  • In a medium-high pot of boiling water, place the turkey wings. Next, add vinegar and salt. Let the turkey wings boil for about 15 minutes.
    3 to 4 Medium-sized Turkey Wings, 1/4 Teaspoon Salt, 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar, Boiling Water
  • If you can, stick a fork in the turkey wings. You are ready to begin frying.
  • Mix all your season in a small bowl
    1/2 Tablespoon Seasoning Salt, 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  • Pour the mixed seasoning over your turkey wings and rub in thoroughly
  • In a large ziplock bag, add your flour along with seasonings and shake well
    1 Tablespoon Black Pepper, 1 Cup Flour, 1 Tsp Seasoning Salt, 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder, 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • Preheat the oil to about 350 Fahrenheit(use a fry thermometer). Gently and carefully submerge the turkey wings into the oil.
    2 Cups Vegetable Oil
  • Once the skin becomes golden brown or reaches, an internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  • To a skillet, add butter along with honey and lemon pepper season. Once the butter has melted, drizzle the sauce over the turkey wings.
    2 Tablespoon Lemon Pepper Seasoning, 1 Tsp Honey, 1/2 Stick Butter
  • Lastly, Preheat your oven to 350 and bake for 10 minutes and enjoy

Notes

I fry my turkey wings in a deep fryer, but you can use a big enough pot to submerge them in—use all the same instructions.
