This easy blackened salmon recipe is seriously the easiest meal you are probably gonna cook. This recipe has 3 ingredients altogether! The simplicity in this recipe doesn’t get any better. The only thing you need to do is season your salmon to taste and there you have it. Blackened salmon. Now, I know that I said easy, but salmon does take some time to learn how to cook it correctly. You can overcook salmon. So, let me show you how to cook salmon.
Blackened Salmon

Ingredients  

  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp New Orleans Cajun Seasoning
  • Lemon

Instructions

  • Place your salmon onto a plate
    4 Salmon fillets
  • Drizzle olive oil over your salmon and then take your hands and rub the olive oil in
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over your salmon. Take your hands and rub the seasoning in completely to cover your entire salmon
    1 Tbsp New Orleans Cajun Seasoning
  • Preheat your pan(cast iron or heavy bottom pan) to medium heat and add in olive oil. Once the olive oil becomes hot add in your salmon meat side down. Allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes without flipping.
  • After the 2 to 3 is up gently peak under one side of your salmon to see if blackened. Once blackened flip the salmon over very gently and allow that side to cook for 5 minutes! Squeeze some over the salmon.
