Crispy baked cod fish served over a bed of pasta with a drizzle of Cajun Alfredo sauce! Whew, doesn’t that sound good? I’m telling you that this is a foolproof recipe. This oven-baked cod fish can be finished and on the table within minutes. The entire family will love this easy weeknight dinner!

Ingredients  

  • 4 Cod fillets
  • 1 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 Lemon Slices
  • 1 Tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Pasta Noodles Optional
  • Cajun Sauce Optional

Instructions

  • If your cod is frozen, make sure to thaw it completely before baking.
  • Preheat your oven to 385 degrees F (196 degrees C).
  • Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and lightly drizzle them with olive oil.
    4 Cod fillets, 1 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • Gently rub in the Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper onto the cod fillets.
    1 Tablespoon Cajun seasoning, 1 Teaspoon Onion powder, 1 Tablespoon Garlic powder, Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Chop the lemon into circle pieces and place them onto the cod fillets.
    4 Lemon Slices
  • Place the baking dish with the cod into the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish becomes flaky when touched with a fork.
  • If you're making a full dinner, you can cook your pasta until al dente and prepare your sauce while the cod is baking. Enjoy your meal!
