Add a Dutch oven pot to the stove on medium-high. Allow the grease to hit a 350 degrees temperature. Use a grease thermometer to know if it’s at that temperature
Vegetable Oil
To a bowl add your washed and patted dry chicken
8 Small Pieces of chicken thighs and chicken legs
Season your chicken and rub in all of the ingredients
2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 2 Tablespoon Black Pepper, 2 Teaspoon Seasoning Salt, 1 Tablespoon Paprika
Next, in a ziplock bag, add the flour along with seasonings. Close the ziplock bag and shake well.
1 1/2 Cups Flour, 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoon Seasoning Salt, 1 Teaspoon Paprika, 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Add chicken in and the bag and shake well again
Place your chicken in the hot grease making sure not to overcrowd the pot.
Allow too deep fry for 10 to 15 minutes for smaller chicken or until inside temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Let cool for 5 minutes and enjoy.
