Clean and wash your raw chicken thoroughly. Making sure to remove all of the hair and excess skin. Pat dry.
10 to 12 Chicken Drumettes
To a large bowl add your cleaned chicken, melted butter, sesame oil, and seasonings. Begin mixing everything. Mix until all seasonings are combined.
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder, 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder, 1/2 Tablespoon Sazon, 1 Teaspoon Butter, 1 Teaspoon Sesame oil
Medium-high heat. Preheat your vegetable oil to 350 degrees. Fill the Dutch oven to half full. Making just enough oil. Also, if you are unsure of the temperature of the hot oil, try using a meat thermometer.
Vegetable oil
Cook the chicken in the frying oil until the skin becomes golden brown and crispy. I would say about 10 to 15 minutes. You should have white juicy meat on the inside.
After deep frying, remove from the pot and allow to rest on a wire rack with paper towels underneath for the chicken pieces to drain.
Lastly, toss or drizzle your crunchy fried chicken into your favorite sauce.
