Frozen Chicken In Crock Pot

Frozen chicken in the crock pot. This slow-cooker chicken is perfectly seasoned and tossed onto a bed of fluffy white rice! The frozen slow cooker chicken doesn’t only pack a powerful protein kick, but it also comes with one of my personal favorites mixed into the sauce. Good old baby potatoes!

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 Frozen Chicken
  • 1.5 lb Baby Potatoes
  • 1 Tablespoons Garlic Powder To your liking
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper To your liking
  • 1 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning To your liking
  • 1 Tablespoons Sazon To your liking
  • 1 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Chicken Broth

Instructions

  • Remove the frozen chicken from the package. Run cool water over the chicken to make sure you remove all of the ice from the chicken if needed.
    4 to 6 Frozen Chicken
  • Add the chicken to the slow cooker along with all the chicken broth.
  • Add the seasoning, baby potatoes, and butter to the slow cooker.
1.5 lb Baby Potatoes, 1 Tablespoons Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 1 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning, 1 Tablespoons Sazon, 1 Tablespoons Butter, 1 1/2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • Place the top on slow cooker. Turn the slow cooker high and allow it to cook for 5 hours. At the halfway mark(3 hours), take a spoon and push the chicken into the liquid, ensuring most of the chicken is covered by liquid.
  • Place the top back on and cook until the chicken is tender or reaches your desired texture.
  • Season to taste before removing from the pot. Plate and enjoy!

Notes

  • Try not to cook the chicken longer than the advised time. The chicken will become shredded and fall apart, which is fine if you like it that way.
  • Don’t leave the top off of the slow cooker. This will hinder the meat from cooking as quickly as it can.
