Crab Fries with Cheese Sauce (Quick and Easy) 

Crab fries with, shrimp, Old Bay seasoning, and a creamy cheese sauce! Come on doesn’t that sound mouthwatering? I made this delicious game day combo with a batch of crinkle fries and boy oh boy this was a hit! These crab fries with a cold drink on the side. Yes, please!

Ingredients  

  • 1 Cup Sharp Shredded Cheese
  • 1 Bag French Fries 32 Oz
  • 1 Cup Lump Crab Meat
  • 1 Cup Shrimp
  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 Stick Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • Fresh Parsley Garnish

Instructions

  • Begin by preparing your French fries. You can fry or bake them. Homemade french fries work with this recipe as well. It’s your preference.
    1 Bag French Fries
  • Next, to a medium-high skillet add olive oil, and minced garlic. Add in your shrimp and season with garlic powder and paprika. Allow to cook until the shrimp goes from translucent to opaque. So, about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet.
    1 Cup Shrimp, 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoon Paprika, 1 Tablespoon Olive oil, 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • To the same skillet add butter. Once melted, add in heavy whipping cream, and seasonings, cheese and lump crab meat. Bring to a slight simmer and stir well.
    1 Cup Lump Crab Meat, 2 Cups Heavy Cream, 1 Tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning, 1/2 Stick Butter, 1 Cup Sharp Shredded Cheese
  • Pour the cheese sauce over the fries along with the shrimp. At this point, you can taste the fries and add more old bay seasoning if need be and garnish with fresh parsley.
