Begin by preparing your French fries. You can fry or bake them. Homemade french fries work with this recipe as well. It’s your preference.
1 Bag French Fries
Next, to a medium-high skillet add olive oil, and minced garlic. Add in your shrimp and season with garlic powder and paprika. Allow to cook until the shrimp goes from translucent to opaque. So, about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet.
1 Cup Shrimp, 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoon Paprika, 1 Tablespoon Olive oil, 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
To the same skillet add butter. Once melted, add in heavy whipping cream, and seasonings, cheese and lump crab meat. Bring to a slight simmer and stir well.
1 Cup Lump Crab Meat, 2 Cups Heavy Cream, 1 Tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning, 1/2 Stick Butter, 1 Cup Sharp Shredded Cheese
Pour the cheese sauce over the fries along with the shrimp. At this point, you can taste the fries and add more old bay seasoning if need be and garnish with fresh parsley.
