Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees. Next, lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Pour the two cans of cherry pie filling and vanilla extract into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
2 Cans Cherry Pie Filling,
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling.
1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
If desired, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the cake mix layer for added flavor.
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix layer.
1 Stick Melted butter
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cherry filling is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve this delicious cherry dump cake warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
