Seafood Boil (Quick and Easy)

The ultimate southern seafood boil is always on the menu here in the south. Crab legs, sausages, corn, and some delicious shrimp are just a few of the ingredients in this seafood boil.

Equipment

  • 1 Large Stockpot

Ingredients  

  • 6 Crab-leg clusters or any seafood you like
  • 3 Red Potatoes chopped to your liking
  • Sausages chopped to your liking
  • 1 pound Fresh shrimp or frozen
  • 8 ears corn to your liking
  • Water or chicken broth
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 Whole Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Old bay to your liking
  • 4 Garlic Cloves

Dipping Sauce

  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Hot Sauce To your liking

Instructions

  • Fill your pot with water
    Water
  • Add your seasoning in and stir. Allow water to come to a rolling boil.
    1/2 cup Old bay, 4 Garlic Cloves
  • Next, add your butter, sausages, onions, corn, and potatoes.
    Cook for 15 minutes or until the potatoes become tender.
    3 Red Potatoes, Sausages chopped to your liking, 8 ears corn to your liking, 1 Stick Butter, 1 Whole Onion
  • Take them out of the pot and set them to the side.
  • Add in your seafood and cook for 5-8 minutes or until the seafood is done
    6 Crab-leg clusters, 1 pound Fresh shrimp or frozen
  • Serve with dipping sauce. Make more as needed
    1 Stick Butter, 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic, 1 Teaspoon Hot Sauce

Homemade Old Bay Season

  • 1 Tablespoon Celery salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Dry Mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
