A Must Try Brown Sugar Short Ribs

Brown Sugar Short Ribs Stew is comfort food at its best. This Southern duo is sure to please your appetite! The tender beef ribs are fall-off-bone delicious. You will be licking the bottom of the pan. This is also an excellent recipe for those busy moms out there!

Ingredients  

  • 4 To 6 Beef Short Ribs
  • 1 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoons Garlic Powder To your liking
  • 1 Teaspoons Salt To your liking
  • 1 Teaspoons Creole Seasoning To your liking
  • 1 Teaspoons Thyme
  • 1 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Bay Leaves
  • 1 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 Purple Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 White Onion Chopped
  • 2 Cups Dry Red Wine Pinot Noir
  • 2 Cups Beef Stock
  • 1 Teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Carrots Chopped
  • 2 Potatoes Chopped

Instructions

  • Heat Oven To 350 Degrees
  • Rub the brown sugar all over your short ribs.
    4 To 6 Beef Short Ribs, 1 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • Add butter to a large skillet of medium heat. Once melted, add in your beef ribs. Allow to sear until all sides are browned. Use tongs to turn meat on all sides.

  • To the same large Dutch oven pot, add beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, onions, carrots, and seasonings. Use a slotted spoon and mix things around.
    1 Tablespoons Garlic Powder, 1 Teaspoons Salt, 1 Teaspoons Creole Seasoning, 1 Teaspoons Thyme, 3 Bay Leaves, 1 Tablespoons Tomato Paste, 1/2 Purple Onion, 1/2 White Onion, 2 Cups Dry Red Wine, 2 Cups Beef Stock, 1 Teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 3 Carrots
  • Cover and place in the oven 2 hours after add in your chopped potatoes and place back in the oven 45 minutes or until the beef is tender.
    2 Potatoes
  • Enjoy with a scoop of mashed potatoes or white rice.
