In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until the onions are translucent.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, and taco seasoning. Cook for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Pour in the beef broth and bring the soup to a simmer. Let it cook for about 15 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, until the soup is heated through.
1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
Season to taste.
1 Teaspoon Salt, 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin, 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
Serve the creamy beef taco soup hot, garnished with shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped fresh cilantro, diced avocado, and tortilla strips if desired.
