Start by thawing the lobster tails if they are frozen. Please place them in a bowl of cold water and let them sit for about 30 minutes. After giving them a good rinse.
3 to 4 Lobster tails
Cut your lobster straight tails down the middle with your shears or knife. This is different from the butterflied lobster tails method.
Next, add butter, minced garlic, and olive oil to a medium-low heat skillet. Once the butter melts add in your lobster tail.
1/2 Stick Butter, 1 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
Place the 4 oz lobster shell face down into the skillet for 3 to 4 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together salt, and ground black pepper.
1/2 Teaspoons Salt, 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
Turn the lobster tails over and sprinkle the whole lobster with the salt and pepper over the top of the lobster tails.
Ensuring that you are cooking lobster tails for another 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove the lobster tails from the skillet and gently squeeze lemon juice over the top of the shell, and add alongside your favorite sides.
