When I eat this Cajun seafood boil recipe. I immediately want to eat the entire tray from everyone. No, seriously this recipe is just that good. If you want to surprise the crowd for the holidays this recipe, is it! They will be raving over this one. My husband makes this recipe for my family all the time and they absolutely can’t get enough! They’re always requesting him to make the seafood boil!!
Okay, when it comes down to a seafood boil, there are a lot of ingredients to be added to the pot but it’s still a rather easy recipe to make. I won’t say that you will have all the ingredients in your pantry, but you may have some.

The ingredients for this recipe may be plentiful but the directions and the cooking time for this seafood boil are painless. You will only use about 20 minutes of your time. For me, that’s a win. The first thing you want to do is gather all your ingredients. I tell you to do this because with all of the ingredients you could possibly miss one. Then your seafood boil won’t taste quite as good as mine. You first want to make sure that the pot you are using is big enough for the crab, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. Bring your water to a boil.
Once you have done so add in your seasonings, butter, red potatoes, corn, and sausages. Allow them to cook for 10 minutes. This point is very important. Don't add your shrimp or crab legs into the boiling water yet. The reason I say this is because the shrimp and the crab legs will both cook pretty fast. If you cook shrimp and crab legs longer than the expected time, they will have a rubber texture when you eat them. Lastly, take out your red potatoes, corn, and sausages. Now, you can add in your shrimp and crab legs and allow them to boil for 7 minutes.
I know that I mention Roger woods sausages but if you are unable to find them I would go with any type of sausages that you like.
Firstly, making this Cajun butter sauce for seafood is easy. The only thing you need to do is get a saucepan. Turn the stove on medium. Once your stove heats up add in your butter. When the butter begins to melt slightly add in your chopped garlic, sweet chili sauce, and your seasonings. Mix everything together well and let simmer for about 3 minutes. There you have it. The most delicious Cajun butter sauce!
