This is possibly the best-stuffed bread recipe ever. Cheese-filled garlic butter biscuits are warm and flaky on the outside and cheesy on the inside. What more can one ask for? This recipe is one to toss in the oven after a long workday. I love to call this recipe my stuffed crazy bread. This stuffed bread takes about 15-20 minutes to make. Doesn't that sound amazing? You should definitely serve my delicious baked spaghetti with this stuffed bread recipe!!
Stuffed bread recipes are one of my favorite things to make. They are easy and super delicious. One thing I can confidently say about this stuffed bread recipe is that the ingredients are the bare minimum. Another thing I like about these cheese biscuits is that they taste similar to little caesar's stuffed crazy bread. Well, that is enough of my yapping. Let's get into making stuffed bread.
Flaky jumbo biscuits- You can find this premade dough at your local grocery store. I got the Pillsbury brand. If you have a favorite, you are welcome to use that.
Shredded mozzarella cheese- We use this to add inside of the dough. To make this a stuffed bread recipe!
Butter- Roasted garlic butter is what I would make with the butter to add on top of the stuffed bread. Gives the bread a ton of flavor.
Minced Garlic-This will give the stuffed bread an elevated flavor when mixed into the butter.
Dried Parsley-For the looks and texture but also for the health benefits.
Stuffed bread recipes have been around for years. Some people make their bread from scratch, while others purchase the dough from the store. Either way, you look at it, stuffed bread is an extremely delicious recipe. What is stuffed bread? It's a recipe that involves you stuffing dough with cheese or anything else that is doable. Then allowing it to bake in the oven. Then enjoying. That's it, stuffed bread.
These cheddar biscuits remind me of red lobsters’ biscuits, but I would say they have a cheesier inside. So, let’s get to the good stuff. These biscuits are packed with finely shredded mozzarella cheese. Doesn’t that sound delicious? When you bite these delicious cheesy bites, your tastebuds will run wild!
To make this recipe, you will only need finely shredded mozzarella cheese, flaky biscuits in the can, and butter. That’s it! If you want, you can make your bread dough from scratch, but I didn't because I wanted a quick and easy 3 ingredient recipe. Once you open your biscuits, take a pinch of mozzarella cheese and fill the middle of the biscuits. Next, butter your pan and place all the biscuits in the pan. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees or to whatever temperature your biscuit can is saying. Lastly, butter your biscuits with your roasted garlic butter mixture.
How to make garlic butter?
This garlic butter is so delicious, especially when rubbed over the top of your stuffed bread. You can also use this same recipe to make my air fryer garlic bread. To make this simple recipe. Turn your stove to medium-high. Now, place your butter in the pan along with minced garlic and parsley for color. Wait until your butter has melted down, then rub over your biscuits!
Can I use another type of cheese?
Yes, you can use any type of cheese that you would like. I have used sharp cheddar cheese in this recipe as well as gouda cheese. Let me start by saying I would stick to shredded cheese and not block cheese. I say this because shredded cheese is easier to melt and will cook along with the biscuits, but block cheese, on the other hand, will not melt as easily, causing the stuffed bread to become burnt and hard.
How long do these garlic butter biscuits last?
So, I would say to try and enjoy these biscuits fresh out of the oven. In my opinion, this stuffed bread is much better fresh out of the oven. You can store them in the refrigerator in a zip lock bag for up to 3 days and then warm them in the microwave.
If you enjoyed this recipe, don't hesitate to leave a comment, letting me know how it was. I really enjoy connecting with you all.
