I have always been the type to simply go to the store and pick up some chocolate or vanilla ice cream, then one day I got curious. Not only did I get intrigued, but my daughter did as well. She said, “Mom, I wonder if we could make ice cream on our own?” Because of our shared interest, I started digging deeper into the making of ice cream. Soon I realized that making this frozen treat is no longer how it use to be. So, I began to test my favorite kind of ice cream—chocolate! After all, who doesn’t love chocolate ice cream?
Once I had perfected the basic chocolate ice cream, I then began to experiment with adding more ingredients to the ice cream, and this is where the magic happened. I created Easy Walnut and Pecan Chocolate Ice Cream!! Doesn’t that sound delicious? Right after preparing the recipe several times, I called in my little taste testers, Zoey and Marley. They absolutely loved it!

Ingredients for Walnut and Pecan Chocolate Ice Cream
*Heavy whipping cream
*Cocoa powder
*Sweetened condensed milk
*Walnuts
*Pecans

Step by Step Instructions for Making Easy Walnut and Pecan Chocolate Ice Cream
Step 1:
Pour in your heavy whipping cream into a bowl.
Step 2:
Mix the whipping cream with an electric hand mixer until it forms soft peaks and starts to look like whipped cream.
Step 3:
Add sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder and mix until blended.
Step 4:
Stir in a small amount of vanilla extract.
Step 5:
Combine the chopped pecans and walnuts with the mixture in the bowl.
Step 6:
Pour into a non-stick pan.
Step 7:
