Grinder salad has been the new TikTok sensation that I can eat for the rest of my life. No, seriously it’s that dang good! It’s a creamy salad with all of the original salad ingredients but with a vibrant twist. This grinder salad is like a combination of a chopped salad and an Italian classic grinder sub. Suppose you know what I mean. This is one hearty salad that you have to try ASAP.

Why Should You Recreate This Grinder Salad?

Flavor, Flavor, Flavor- Need I say more? This recipe is out of this world delicious. With all of the seasoned meat and banana peppers, it’s a hit!!

Quick and Easy- I love the fact that you can simply chop up all of the ingredients and toss them into a bowl with the dressing and you’re done!

Variations- Here’s the thing. You can turn this grinder salad into a grinder sandwich if that makes sense. As I mentioned above. It’s something like an Italian sun. All you will need is a subbread.

Ingredients You Will Need

Grinder Salad
  • Lettuce- crisp shredded iceberg lettuce is fine or whatever lettuce you get that shreds we’ll. Try and stay away from romaine as it doesn’t chop as great.
  • Meats- You can use whatever meat your heart desires. That’s the fun part. Got some leftover meat in the fridge. Add that in. I used turkey, deli ham, and pepperoni.
  • Banana Peppers- The star of the show I feel like you cannot have a grinder salad without the peppers. I use the peppers and the liquid. You can also use pepperoncini pepper liquid if you can’t find banana peppers.
  • Chopped Red Onions- If you are a fan of onions like me! You’re going to love those onions for added flavor.
  • Grape Tomatoes- This gives this grinder salad recipe a ton of texture and also adds great, sweet flavor.
  • Cheese- This grinder salad has two types of cheeses. I used sliced provolone and grated parmesan cheese.
