This bacon deviled eggs recipe is one to either be enjoyed during the holidays are pretty much year around. It’s totally up to you, but I will say they are beautiful to have on the table for the holidays. This recipe pairs really well with my fried chicken without buttermilk recipe.

We all are always searching for quick and easy recipes to enjoy. These southern deviled eggs aren’t any different. The full list of ingredients is listed below.

Fried Bacon- The bacon is one of the main ingredients in this recipe. It adds a ton of crunchiness and flavor.

Eggs-You can use medium or large eggs. White shell or brown shell eggs. Completely up to you.

Seasonings- Paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Mustard and Mayonnaise –Bring a ton of flavor to your southern deviled eggs.

Relish- Add a small amount of sweetness and crunchiness.

How to make deviled eggs with bacon

Devil eggs with bacon, or just call it southern deviled eggs. Either way, you say it. This is one delicious dish with a little number of ingredients.

Boil Eggs and remove the shell
Cut your hard boil egg in half.



Remove the yolk and place it in a bowl.

Begin mashing your yolk

Next, add your mayonnaise, mustard, relish, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix them together. 

Scoop the mixture back into the egg white
Add bacon and paprika to the top 

Substitutions

If you don’t eat pork but still want that crunchy taste, you could place a jalapeño on the top instead of bacon.

Options and Variations

Seasonings- You can choose to use any type of seasonings you like in this recipe.

Taste- Make it as spicy as you like to.  The jalapeños will come in perfectly here.

Equipment- You will need a spoon to remove the yolk once the eggs have boiled easily.  

Storage

You will find yourself having more of these delicious southern deviled eggs left over; then, you can either store them in a plate with a Saran Wrap over them or in an airtight container. Be mindful of storing them in a ziplock bag. It wouldn’t keep them in place. They would spill. They last stored for up to 4 days.

Reheating

Quick and easy to reheat in the microwave. Just place it in the microwave for 10 seconds.

 Tip

Be gentle when removing the egg yolk. It tears pretty easily.

Soak eggs in ice water to be able to peel the eggs faster.

  • 8 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Mustard
