What Is Crab Rangoon?

I always thought of this mixture as a crab rangoon dip sort of thing. It’s a popular appetizer in American Chinese cuisine. It is typically made by filling wonton wrappers with a mixture of cream cheese, crab meat, and various seasonings. The filled wontons are then deep-fried until crispy and golden brown.
