Instructions on cooking blackened salmon

  1. Place your salmon onto a plate
  • Drizzle olive oil over your salmon and then take your hands and rub the olive oil in
  • Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over your salmon. Take your hands and rub the seasoning in completely to cover your entire salmon
  • Preheat your pan (cast iron or heavy bottom pan) to medium heat and add olive oil. Once the olive oil becomes hot add in your salmon meat side down. Allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes without flipping.
  • After the 2 to 3 is up gently peak under one side of your salmon to see if blackened. Once blackened flip the salmon over very gently and allow that side to cook for 5 minutes! Squeeze some over the salmon.
  • Transfer your salmon to a plate and enjoy!!
