My high protein waffle recipe with strawberries is light, fluffy, savory, and filled with cheesecake.

Protein Waffles

I love that my small ingredient list for these protein waffles with strawberry cheesecake Toppings can be on the table in under 10 minutes!!  I mean, breakfast just got better with these little protein waffles. They are made to leave you feeling full and satisfied. There is not a lot of sugar, which leaves room for more savory pairings like turkey sausage or a powerful green mango smoothie to give you that extra burst of energy!

 High Protein Waffles Ingredients

Protein Waffles 9
  • Protein Powder- is one of 3 ingredients you will need for the batter.
  • Eggs- The eggs and the powder. You are getting about 20 grams of protein. If not more.
  • Milk is another powerful boost, but if you don’t like dairy, replace it with water.
  • Baking Powder- I used this to help raise the mixture when placed into the skillet.
  • Cheesecake Mixture—I enjoyed adding the strawberries to the mixture. This helped balance the ingredients.

How To Make Protein Waffles

Gather- sift all of the wet ingredients into a dish.

Wet Components- Add your milk to the dry and mix well.

Hot Griddle: Spray the surface with nonstick spray. Next, pour about 1 cup of the mixture into the griddle. Cook until crispy or golden brown.

Strawberry Topping- Plate those little fluffy goodies and add the cheesecake mixture!

Other Ideas To Try

Try substituting the strawberry for blueberries. They work just as well and add a ton of flavor.

Nuts can be great to top things off. Try crushed walnuts or cashews.

Sugar-free anything is a win for you and me, but if you want to sweeten things up, Add some stevia.

Try adding in oats and cottage cheese to serve up even more protein.
