  • Jumbo Shells- This shells dish definitely isn’t complete without the jumbo shells. The creamy sauce/cheese mixture is added on top of the shells and let me just say that this recipe doesn’t disappoint.
  • Chicken Breasts- This is used to help make the chicken filling. I will give you other alternatives to make these delicious chicken Alfredo stuffed shells below.
  • Homemade Alfredo Sauce- I feel like you can’t make this delicious dinner without extra cheese sauce.
  • Seasonings- black pepper, garlic powder, and, Italian seasoning.
  • Olive Oil- A great way to sear the chicken breast for your cheesy chicken Alfredo stuffed shells.
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese- helps to create that warm gooey sauce for the perfect comfort food.
  • Cream Cheese- I added a small amount of this to the filling mixture to give these Alfredo stuffed shells that great flavor.

How To Make Alfredo Stuffed Shells?

  • In a large mixing bowl add in your cleaned chicken breast. Next, add all of your seasonings to the chicken. Massage the seasonings well with your hands.
  • To a medium-high heat skillet add in butter with olive oil once melted.
  • Add in your chicken breast and place a top over the chicken for 10-15 minutes checking occasionally. Allow the chicken to cook until there is no more pink inside or the internal temperature has reached 165 degrees.
  • Begin cooking your jumbo shells until Al dente (follow box instructions)
  • Once done take the your cooked chicken breast out of the pot and chop into tiny pieces.
  • Add the chopped chicken into a bowl then add in your chopped baby spinach, ricotta, softened cream cheese, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix these ingredients together well.
  • Carefully open the cooked pasta shells and add the mixture to your jumbo shells.

Alfredo Sauce Remaining Steps

  • To the same skillet add in your butter and minced garlic, and allow to melt down. Next, add in your heavy cream then grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Whisk all those ingredients together well.
  • Lastly, add in your softened cream cheese then sea salt and pepper to taste.
  • Allow to a simmer for 2 to 3 minutes then remove from the stove.
  • Layer the bottom of the casserole dish with about 1 cup of Alfredo sauce.
  • Add your stuffed shells. Just enough to cover the bottom of the dish.
  • Add the remainder of the Alfredo over the top.
  • Sprinkle about 1 to 2 cup mozzarella cheese over the top
  • In a preheated oven at 375 degrees. Add in your dish. Allow to cook for 25 minutes or until some of the top becomes a golden brown
  • Allow to cool for 10 minutes and enjoy.

Substitutions/Variations

  • The chicken can be replaced with rotisserie chicken or pre-shredded chicken.
  • A Jar of sauce can be used to replace the homemade Alfredo sauce. Store-bought Alfredo sauce works as well.
  • Red Pepper Flakes make things spicy. Simply add some to the Alfredo mixture.

Ingredients 

Chicken Breast

  • 4 Chicken breast
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Creole Seasoning
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Olive Oil

Jumbo Shells Stuffing

  • 1 Box Jumbo Shells
  • ½ cup Baby Spinach
  • ½ cup Ricotta
  • ½ cup Cream Cheese Softend
  • 1 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Mozzarella

Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 Cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Fresh
  • Garlic Powder To taste
  • Black Pepper To Taste
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 3 Tbsp Cream Cheese Softend
  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Mozzarella cheese

Topping

  • 1 Cup Mozzarella

Instructions

Chicken Breast Recipe

  • In a bowl add in your cleaned chicken breast then add in all of your seasonings to the chicken. Massage the seasonings in well with your hands.

Alfredo Sauce Instructions

  • Turn your stove on medium.
  • Once the pan becomes hot add in your butter and minced garlic, allow to meltdown. Next, add in your heavy cream then grated Parmesan cheese.
    2 Cups Heavy cream, 1 cup Grated Parmesan, 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic, 1 Stick of Butter
  • Whisk all those ingredients together
  • Lastly, add in your softend cream cheese then garlic powder and pepper to taste. Whisk until the cream cheese is dissolved.
    Black Pepper, 3 Tbsp Cream Cheese, Garlic Powder
  • Add in mozzarella cheese(Optional)
    1/2 Cup Mozzarella cheese
  • Once the Alfredo sauce begins to boil…..remove from stove

Alfredo Stuffed Shells

  • Add the chopped chicken into a bowl then add in your chopped baby spinach, ricotta, cream cheese, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix these ingredients together well.
    1 Tsp Garlic Powder, ½ cup Baby Spinach, ½ cup Ricotta, ½ cup Cream Cheese, 1 Tsp Sea Salt, 1 Tbsp Mozzarella, 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • Add the mixture to your jumbo shells
    1 Box Jumbo Shells
  • layer the bottom of the dish with Alfredo sauce(just enough to cover the bottom)
