What type of bread to use for maple glazed cinnamon toast?
I have tried cinnamon toast with just about every thick bread it is out there but the only bread that I really love to use is brioche bread. I mean is it really any other way to have maple cinnamon toast? LOL, yes there is. So, let me give you other options. You can use Texas toast or be simple any white bread.
Do you have to use milk in this recipe?
Firstly, no you don’t have to use milk. I have actually made this recipe with milk and without milk. I have to say the one with the milk seems to be a little more fluffy but the one without milk has so much more of the maple and cinnamon taste to it. I will let you decide.
How to make maple glazed cinnamon toast?
The first thing you will need to do is gather all of your ingredients. So, grab a bowl, eggs, ground cinnamon, maple extract, sugar and salt. Wisp all of those ingredients together and then gently submerge your bread in the mixture making sure to coat both sides.
Secondly, turn a pot on medium-high and add olive oil. Place the bread in and let cook on both sides for 2-3 minutes or until browned.

- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp maple extract
- 1/4 cup milk milk or buttermilk
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 8 slice brioche bread or white bread
- In a bowl add in , eggs, ground cinnamon, maple extract, sugar, and salt. Wisp all of those ingredients together
