Seasoning for ground turkey just got easier to add to your lean ground turkey! The sweet thing about this spice mixture is that it can be added to any meat. The simple ingredients make this the best ground turkey seasoning ever! If you want to add it to your ground turkey tacos, turkey burgers, or turkey meatballs. You can definitely do that because this recipe is that versatile.
In a small bowl, combine all the dried herbs and spices: parsley, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Mix everything together until well combined, ensuring an even distribution of all the spices.
Sprinkle the seasoning blend over the raw ground Turkey. At this point you can add in tomato sauce, enchilada sauce, or any sauce you may want to. If none. That’s ok. Now, gently mix the pound of ground turkey and seasoning together until incorporated throughout the meat.
Let the seasoned ground turkey cook for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Your seasoned ground turkey is ready to be cooked and used in your favorite recipes! Whether you're making turkey burgers, meatballs, taco salad, or any other dish, this flavorful blend will add a delicious touch.
You can use this seasoning for ground Turkey for a ton of different recipes. I will list a few ideas below.
Black Beans- This is a super easy recipe that can pair with my seasoning for ground beef. For those busy nights this can bring you much flavor.
Red Meat- pick up some fresh meat from your local grocery store and add the seasoning to your meat. This seasoning works well on tenderizing meat and slow cooked meat. It infused its flavor into the lean meat and makes a delicious meal.
Healthy Turkey Tacos- Create a taco and add in this seasoning to your tacos. You can use flour tortillas or a little more healthier tortillas to get the health benefits.
Ground Cumin- If you aren’t a fan of paprika you can substitute it for ground cumin. This adds in a slight nutty and peppery taste.
Spice Jars: Use small air tight spice jars or containers. Get them from kitchen supply stores or reuse empty ones from store-bought spices. Label each jar for easy identification.
Seasoning for ground Turkey is a plus when you are on the go and have those busy weeknights that we all have sometimes.
