Ingredients

Baked Chicken Thighs
  • Bone-In Chicken Thighs- This is what I love about this chicken thighs recipe. You can use bone-in or boneless skinless chicken thighs. Either way, the whole family will be asking for more juicy meat.
  • Seasonings- A used an array of herbs that are pantry staples such as paprika, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and onion powder for this simple recipe.

Allow your oven temperature to reach 400 degrees, and place the chicken in.

After 30 minutes remove the aluminum foil and place back in the oven until you get tender crispy baked chicken thighs or golden brown.

Hint: If you aren’t sure if the juicy chicken is done try using a meat thermometer. Make sure the inside temperature reaches at least 165F inside. Usda.

Substitutions

  • Butter- if you aren’t a fan of butter. You can simply use only olive oil to create this easy chicken thigh recipe.
  • Chicken Breasts-  can be substituted for the skin-on chicken thighs
  • Olive Oil- This is a great way to keep things on the healthier side. You can also use grapeseed oil or avocado oil.

Variations

  • Spicy – add cayenne pepper to this easy dinner recipe to give these simple baked chicken thighs even more great flavors.
  • Lemon zest- The good news is that you can spruce things up and play with the flavors and taste a bit when adding lemon zest and even soy sauce.
  • Italian- You can soak your white meat in the dressing to allow even more flavor to set in before baking.
  • White Potatoes – To make them Southern style add in some chopped white potatoes and carrots. I have a similar recipe with chicken drumsticks.
