Ingredients For Frozen Sweet Potato Fries In Air Fryer
So, here is the kicker. This frozen sweet potato fries recipe only has 3 ingredients—nothing made from scratch.
- Frozen Sweet Potato Fries- I used Alexia sweet potato fries in this air fryer recipe, but you can use whatever brand of sweet potato fries you like.
- Olive Oil- Extra virgin olive oil. I didn’t use much olive oil because I didn’t want my fries to become soggy.
- Brown Sugar- Add a ton of flavor. You can skip this step, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
How To Cook Frozen Sweet Potato Fries In Air Fryer?
Making this recipe is one of the best things in life. This recipe is one of the easiest air fryer recipes I’ve ever made.
(1) Preheat- You want to start by first preheating your air fryer to 350 degrees. This is a very important step you don’t want to skip. Preheating the air fryer before helps your food cook faster and more evenly.
(2)Drizzle- You want to drizzle your olive oil over the French fries. Make sure you only drizzle a small amount. Anything too heavy will cause the fries to become soggy when air frying.
(3)Brown Sugar- Ah, this is the fun and tasty part that makes this recipe all worth it. Sprinkle brown sugar over your frozen sweet potato fries. Now, take your hand and mix things.
(4)Assemble and Air Fry- Add all your fries to the air fryer tray making sure not to overcrowd them. Cook for 8 minutes. Next, open-air fryer and shake the fries around. Place back in the air fryer for 5 minutes, or until you reach the level of crispiness you would like.
Equipment
- Air Fryer– I used a brand by the name of Ninja Foodie. It has 2 baskets, so I could make other food simultaneously, which was so convenient.
- Glass Bowl– This will help ensure you get all that olive oil and brown sugar mixed well on your air fryer sweet potato fries.
- Small Sauce Dipping Bowl- Add sauce to your bowls and dip away.
Variations
- Cheesy- Melted nacho cheese. Okay, hear me out. Grab some nacho cheese from the store or homemade nacho cheese. Try the Tostitos brand. Drizzle over the top of your fries to make yourself some cheesy nacho fries.
- Spicy fries- I love Cajun seasoning on regular French fries, so why not try some on your sweet potato fries if you love spicy foods?
- Crispy- Make them into some crispy sweet potato chips. Air fry them until they are nicely dried out, and enjoy.
Storage
Store these frozen air fryer frozen sweet potato fries in an airtight container. There you have it.
Reheating
I don’t recommend reheating these frozen sweet potato fries made in the air fryer. If you must, I will always say to bake them in the oven or air fryer at 350 degrees for 3 to 4 minutes or until it reaches your desired warmth.
What can I serve frozen sweet potato fries in the air fryer with?
