Ingredients for Crown Royal Cookies

Crown Royal Cookies

To make these mouthwatering Crown Royal cookies, you will need the following ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour–  This is the base of the cookie dough and provides structure. Remember to always mix the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients separately then combine them.
  • Salt– I used salt to enhance the flavors in the cookies and balance out the sweetness.
  • Baking Powder– Baking powder helps the cookies rise and gives them a soft texture. When using ingredients such as cocoa powder it tends to dry the cookies out and give them a hard texture.
  • Softened butter-  The butter is also used to enhance the flavors. You are welcome to use salted or unsalted butter it’s completely up to you my friend. Butter also makes these crown royal cookies light and fluffy.
  •  Brown Sugar– Brown sugar adds moisture, flavor, and a rich caramel flavor to the cookies.

Other Ingredients

  •  Granulated Sugar- Simply used to sweeten the crown cookies and helps them spread during baking. I used about 1 cup sugar.
  • Vanilla Extract- Vanilla extract adds a delightful aroma and flavor to the cookies and helps balance out the smooth whiskey in this great cookie recipe!
  • Large Eggs– bind the ingredients together and provide structure.
  • Crown Royal whiskey- This is the star ingredient that gives these cookies their unique flavor.
  • Chocolate Chips– add bursts of chocolatey goodness to every bite. You are welcome to use dark chocolate or white chocolate. Sweetened or unsweetened chocolate chips. It’s completely up to you.
  • Marshmallows- When purchasing marshmallows, a great choice is the mini marshmallows. They mix well with the cookie dough. If they only have the jumbo marshmallows at your local grocery store. I recommend you cut them into smaller pieces before mixing them into the dough.
  • Pecans- Chopped pecans work best in this crown royal cookies recipe. Try not to add too big of pieces. Also, remember to check the dates on the pecans especially if it isn’t around the holidays. Fresh pecans work best.
