How to make Cajun butter sauce for seafood?

Making this butter sauce for a seafood boil or any other meal is easy. The only thing you need to do is get a saucepan. Turn the stove on medium-high. Once your stove heats up, add in your salted butter. Add your chopped garlic, chili sauce, and seasonings when the butter melts slightly. Mix everything together well and let simmer for about 5 minutes. There you have it.

*Make sure you allow your sauce to simmer. Don’t miss that step. Allowing the sauce to simmer gives the flavors time to mingle. Give you some of the most amazing-tasting sauces you have ever had!

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted butter
  • 4 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
    1/2 Cup Unsalted butter
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
    4 Garlic Cloves
  • Stir in the Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
    1 Teaspoon Cajun Seasoning, 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika, 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper, 1/4 Teaspoon Dried Thyme, Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
    2 Tablespoons Lemon juice
  • Serve the Cajun garlic butter sauce immediately as a dipping sauce for seafood, grilled meats, or drizzle it over vegetables or pasta.
  • If desired, garnish with chopped parsley for added freshness.
