Easy Bacon Spinach Stuffed Chicken

One of my favorite recipes to make is my easy bacon spinach stuffed chicken. This recipe seriously deserves its own holiday. Spinach stuffed chicken breasts at their finest. Let’s make it!!

What are the ingredients for this stuffed chicken breast recipe?

  1. 6 Chicken Breast
  2. Sea Salt
  3. Pepper
  4. Garlic Powder
  5. Seasoning Salt or All purpose seasoning 
  6. Mozzarella cheese
  7. Honey
  8. Butter
  9. Spinach 
  10. Cream cheese 
  11. Parmesan Cheese
  12. Bacon

How to make spinach stuffed chicken breast?

The hardest part about this stuffed chicken recipe would probably be cutting the chicken. I’m kidding. First, let’s start off by placing the chicken on a  flat surface. Secondly, place your hand flat on the chicken and cut a slit into the middle of your chicken. Make sure not to cut the chicken in half. Just a big enough slit for the spinach mixture.

 In a bowl add in your cream cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, salt, mozzarella, precooked bacon, and pepper. Mix those ingredients until well combined. Stuff 1 teaspoon of the mixture into the chicken breast. Next, season your chicken on both sides with garlic powder, pepper, and seasoning salt. In a pan add butter along with olive oil. Once the grease gets hot place your chicken in the pan for both sides to sear. Lastly, in your preheated oven add your chicken and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

How to reheat spinach stuffed chicken?

To reheat this stuffed chicken breast recipe. You will only need a microwave but if you don’t you can use your stove. Lastly, if using a microwave just allow the stuffed chicken 1 minute to reheat. If using an oven preheat to 350 degrees and allow warming for 10 minutes. 

Can I use any other type of chicken for this recipe?

I personally have only tried to make this stuffed chicken recipe with chicken breast. I’m not sure how things will turn out with any other type of chicken.

Easy bacon spinach stuffed chicken is made of creamy cheese,  bacon , and spinach stuffed inside of a juicy chicken breast. Who doesn’t love a good stuffed chicken breast right?!

Ingredients
  

Chicken Breast

  • 6 Chicken Breast
  • 1/4 Tsp Sea Salt To your liking
  • 1/4 Tsp Pepper To your liking
  • 1/4 Tsp Seasoning Salt Optional
  • 1 Tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Butter

Spinach Mixture

  • 1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder To your liking
  • 1 Tbsp Honey To glaze the top of chicken
  • 3 Cups Baby Spinach
  • 4 Oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 1/4 Cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 Tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Sea Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees
  • Place the chicken on a  flat surface.
    Place your hand flat on the chicken and cut a slit into the middle of your chicken. Make sure not to cut the chicken in half. Just a big enough slit for the spinach mixture.

  •  In a bowl add in your cream cheese, chopped spinach, garlic powder, sea salt, mozzarella, precooked bacon, and pepper.
    1/4 Tsp Sea Salt, 1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder, 3 Cups Baby Spinach, 4 Oz Cream Cheese, 1/4 Cup Mozzarella cheese, 4 slices bacon chopped
  • Mix those ingredients until well combined
  • In your chicken breast slit stuff 1 teaspoon of the mixture into the chicken breast.
  • In a pan medium-high add in butter along with olive oil.
    Once the grease gets hot place your chicken in the pan. Season your chicken on both sides with garlic powder, pepper, and seasoning salt.
    1/4 Tsp Sea Salt, 1/4 Tsp Pepper, 1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder, 1/4 Tsp Seasoning Salt, 1 Tbsp Butter
  • Sear both sides of the chicken for 8 minutes.
    Remove the pan from the stove
  • Place a piece of aluminum foil over the top of the pan and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Glaze chicken top with honey
    1 Tbsp Honey
  • Enjoy
